Hey Girl was written in the fall of 1983. The version you know is a revised version from 2004/2005. Back in the early eighties I was playing with a guitar player named Dann Mirka (great guy). We played a lot of Ramones and Clash (and some Black Sabbath and Bob Dylan) and had a lot of good times making raw shitty noises. Hey Girl came out of that time period. It speaks to the attitude we had as a group at the time. Still love playing it.
